30th Celebration: Pikachu Coin Sets for China

Right in time for the worldwide launch of 30th Celebration on September 16, 2026, Pokémon China is adding a collecting line of its own: Pikachu coin sets and a matching coin collector frame. The products are China-exclusive (Simplified Chinese) and release on the same day as the anniversary set.

China's 30th Celebration Pikachu coin set: three booster packs plus two random coins.

What's in the coin set?

A Pikachu coin set costs 68 CNY (around 8 to 9 euros) and contains:

  • Three booster packs from the 30th Celebration set (5 cards each)
  • Two random Pikachu coins
  • Matching accessories for collecting

The coin collecting system

There are 120 different Pikachu coins to collect in total. The first three colors have an equal pull rate, while the gold coins are about 99 times rarer. If you want to show off the collection, there's a separate 30th Anniversary coin collector frame for 200 CNY that holds 30 coins.

What does this mean for collectors?

The coin sets are a China-only product and run alongside the already known Chinese 30th anniversary items such as the Charizard figure box and the Pikachu figure set. They are currently not officially available on the German market, so at pokelix the focus is on the info for now, not a sale. The worldwide 30th Celebration set itself releases on September 16, 2026 at the same time in all regions, including here.
