Collection Files: binders for all 1,025 Pokemon
For the 30th anniversary, Japan is getting a series of nine Pokemon Card Game Premium Collection Files. Every binder has numbered card slots, and together they cover every Pokemon from #001 to #1025.

Date, price and where to get them
The series launches on 16 October 2026 and is available exclusively in Japanese Pokemon Center Stores and the official online shop. The recommended retail price is 2,420 yen per binder, roughly 13.40 euros. On top of that there are refill packs for 700 yen, roughly 3.90 euros, containing ten blank card pages and one index sheet for that generation.
Nine binders, nine generations
The Collection Files cover generations I to IX. The front shows holographic silhouettes of that generation's starter Pokemon, the back shows the fully evolved starters. Two Legendary Pokemon appear on the sides.

Numbered slots instead of loose pages
The real difference from a normal binder sits in the pages. Every binder contains special card pages carrying the Pokedex numbers of its generation. The Kanto binder, for example, has nine card pages for Pokemon #001 to #151 plus a tenth, unnumbered page. Alongside the Pokedex numbers, the card pages also show embossed energy symbols.

Each binder also comes with an index sheet showing the silhouettes of all Pokemon in that generation. One glance tells you which slot is still empty.

What this means for collectors in Germany
The Collection Files are Japan exclusive and run through the Pokemon Center Store. No German or European edition has been announced, so there is no regular way to buy them here. Anyone who wants one needs a proxy or import service and should add shipping and import duties on top of the 13.40 euros.
Who this is worth it for: anyone treating the Pokedex as a collecting goal finally gets an official shelf format for it. Anyone who simply wants to store cards is better served by a normal binder, because the numbered slots dictate what goes where.
