Delta Reign: The Kommo-o Deck
From Delta Reign comes a Dragon deck that loads up from the top of your deck. Every turn, Kommo-o looks at the top six cards and attaches every Basic Energy it finds to your Dragon Pokémon. Raging Bolt ex discards that Energy again and deals 70 damage per card. The set releases on 6 November 2026.
The engine: Kommo-o 075/103

- Stage 2, evolves from Hakamo-o, 160 HP, Dragon type
- Ability Schuppenklappern: Once during your turn, you look at the top 6 cards of your deck. You attach any Basic Energy among them to your Dragon Pokémon in any way you like and shuffle the rest back into your deck.
- Einhämmern for one Lightning, one Fighting and one Colorless Energy: 170 damage.
The deck runs 25 Basic Energy. With 60 cards, that means six revealed cards hold two and a half Energy on average. Every Kommo-o in play has the Ability, so with two on the field you check twice per turn.
The earlier stages are Jangmo-o and Hakamo-o, 073/103 and 074/103 according to the card list. So far they only exist as English scans: Jangmo-o (70 HP) takes 30 less damage during your opponent's next turn after its attack, Hakamo-o (100 HP) flips two coins and deals 70 damage for each heads. Both are just stepping stones, Kommo-o is the one you play.
The attacker: Raging Bolt ex

- Basic Pokémon, 240 HP, Dragon type, Ancient. The deck list names the Temporal Forces version (123/162).
- Berstender Brüller for one Colorless Energy: You discard your hand and draw 6 cards.
- Kläffender Donner for one Lightning and one Fighting Energy: You discard any number of Basic Energy from your Pokémon, each one deals 70 damage. Five Energy make 350.
Important: Kläffender Donner takes Energy from all of your Pokémon, not just the attacker. Whatever Kommo-o spread across the Bench over several turns goes into a single hit. After that the field is empty, and Schuppenklappern reloads next turn.
The second attacker: Raging Bolt

- Basic Pokémon, 130 HP, Dragon type, Ancient (Stellar Crown 111/142)
- Gewittersturm for one Lightning and one Fighting Energy: Choose one of your opponent's Pokémon, it takes 30 damage for each Energy attached to that Pokémon. Weakness and Resistance don't apply on the Bench.
- Drachen-Kopfnuss for Lightning, Fighting and Colorless: 130 damage.
Raging Bolt is the answer to opponents who pile a lot of Energy onto one Pokémon, whether it's Active or on the Bench. And it only gives up one Prize card when Knocked Out, Raging Bolt ex gives up two.
Draw and search

- Dudunsparce (Prismatic Evolutions 080/131): Ability Angsthasenabzug, draw 3 cards once per turn. If you drew at least one, you shuffle Dudunsparce and all attached cards back into your deck. The earlier stage Dunsparce (Journey Together 120/159) switches with a Benched Pokémon using Platztausch.
- Lillys Entschlossenheit (Mega Evolution 119/132): shuffle your hand into your deck, draw 6 cards. With exactly 6 Prize cards left, it's 8.
- Lucia (Phantasmal Flames 087/094): one Basic, one Stage 1 and one Stage 2 Pokémon from your deck into your hand. That is the complete Jangmo-o, Hakamo-o, Kommo-o line in one go.
- Sonderbonbon (Mega Evolution 125/132): Kommo-o straight onto Jangmo-o, skipping Hakamo-o. Not on your first turn and not on a Pokémon that just came into play.
- Poképad (30th Celebration 126/128): one Pokémon without a Rule Box from your deck. Finds Kommo-o, Raging Bolt and Dudunsparce, but not Raging Bolt ex.
- Dicke-Freunde-Knursp (Ascended Heroes 184/217): up to 2 Basic Pokémon with 70 HP or less straight onto your Bench. Jangmo-o and Dunsparce have exactly 70 HP and qualify.

Is the deck worth it?
Jangmo-o, Hakamo-o and Kommo-o are regular cards from Delta Reign, everything else comes from sets that are already out. The many Energy cards and the lean Trainer list make the deck easy to build. Its weakness is the setup: without Sonderbonbon, it takes two turns until Kommo-o is in play. And every Raging Bolt ex gives up two Prize cards. Source: PokeZentrum, 18 October 2026. Card texts taken from the card scans, Jangmo-o and Hakamo-o only as English scans. Trainer, attack and Ability names are kept in German as printed on the German cards. Two differences from the source: Kläffender Donner does not count the attached Energy but the discarded Energy, 70 damage for each card you discard from your Pokémon. Gewittersturm only counts the Energy on the Pokémon it hits. The card's wording is used in each case.
