Delta Reign: the Forces of Nature quartet

Note on names: the cards shown here are the German prints. Pokémon names are given in English, attack and Ability names stay in German, because the official English wording for these cards has not been published yet and we do not guess card text.

Delta Reign brings the Forces of Nature back to the trading card game, and it brings them as a package. Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus and Enamorus all carry the same Ability. It only works when all four are in play at the same time. The set releases on 6 November 2026.

The Ability: Inkarnationssolidarität

The card text is identical on all four: if you have Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus and Enamorus in play, ignore all Colorless Energy in the attack costs of this Pokémon.

Colorless Energy is the star symbol in attack costs, the part you can pay with any Energy at all. Remove it and only the coloured remainder is left. On three of the four cards that remainder is tiny.

Tornadus 085/103

Basic Pokémon, 110 HP, Colorless type. Weakness Lightning x2, Resistance Fighting -30, Retreat 1.

Spiralsturzflug costs three Colorless Energy and does 70 damage. Afterwards you may draw cards until you have 6 cards in hand.

This is the standout card of the quartet: its cost is made up entirely of Colorless Energy. With the quartet in play, Tornadus attacks for zero Energy, deals 70 damage and refills your hand to six. An attacker that doubles as the draw engine.

Thundurus 035/103

Basic Pokémon, 120 HP, Lightning type. Weakness Fighting x2, Retreat 1.

Donnerkante costs one Lightning and two Colorless Energy and does 90 damage. That damage is not affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon.

With the quartet in play a single Lightning Energy is left. 90 damage for one Energy is strong, but the real value sits in the rider: damage reduction and similar protective effects do not apply.

Landorus 054/103

Basic Pokémon, 130 HP, Fighting type. Weakness Grass x2, Retreat 2. The toughest member of the quartet.

Gaia-Zermalmer costs one Fighting and two Colorless Energy, does 110 damage and discards one Stadium in play.

With the quartet that is one Fighting Energy. Stadium removal matters in Delta Reign in particular, because the set introduces the Legendary Stadium cards that always consist of two halves.

Enamorus MEP 113

Basic Pokémon, 120 HP, Psychic type. The fourth part of the quartet is not a regular set card but a prerelease promo from the Build & Battle Box, which reaches stores on 24 October 2026.

Couragiertes Herz costs two Psychic and two Colorless Energy and does 100+ damage. If your opponent's Active Pokémon is a Pokémon ex, it does 100 more, so 200.

Where this goes

The quartet asks for four Basic Pokémon on the field at once, one Active plus three on the Bench. That is space you would normally give to support Pokémon, and it takes several turns. In return, almost all Energy costs disappear afterwards.

For collectors the access route is the interesting part: Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus sit in the boosters as regular cards, Enamorus does not. Anyone who wants the complete quartet either buys the Build & Battle Box or picks the promo up as a single.

Delta Reign releases on 6 November 2026 with over 135 cards and Mega Rayquaza ex at the top. We are keeping an eye on it.
