Delta Reign: The Meowscarada ex Deck at a Glance
From Delta Reign comes a Grass deck that hits twice per attack. Meowscarada ex strikes the Active and the Bench, while Arboliva ex spreads the damage counters that make this possible beforehand. The set releases on 6 November 2026.
The card: Meowscarada ex 014/103

- Stage 2, evolves from Floragato, 320 HP, Grass type
- Magical Bullet for two Grass Energy: 120 damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon and another 120 to one of their Benched Pokémon that already has damage counters on it
- Weakness and Resistance do not apply to the Bench damage
The catch is in the fine print: the second hit only goes to a Benched Pokémon that is already damaged. That is exactly what the rest of the deck is built for.
How the cards work together
- Arboliva ex (Destined Rivals, 310 HP): its attack (German name „Ölsalve“) costs one Grass Energy. Six times you choose one of your opponent's Pokémon and put 20 damage on it, the same one more than once if you like. After that practically every Bench has damage counters, and Magical Bullet hits twice.
- Meowscarada (Journey Together 018/159, 160 HP): its Ability („Showtime“) switches it from the Bench with your Active Pokémon once per turn. Its attack („Aufblühen“) does 90 damage, 90 more against a Pokémon ex, so 180.
- Meganium (Mega Evolution 010/132): its Ability („Wildes Wachstum“) makes each attached Basic Grass Energy provide two Grass Energy. One card is then enough for Magical Bullet.

Setup and protection
- Wald der Vitalität (Stadium, Mega Evolution 117/132): Grass Pokémon may evolve during the turn they were put into play, except on your first turn. Three copies in the deck bring Meowscarada ex out early.
- Celebi (Mega Evolution 012/132): its attack („Reise durch die Zeit“) searches your deck for up to three Grass Pokémon and Stadium cards, the Stadium above included.
- Käfersammlerset (Item, Prismatic Evolutions 102/131): look at the top 7 cards of your deck and take up to 2 Grass Pokémon or Basic Grass Energy.
- Budew (Ascended Heroes): its attack („Juckende Pollen“) for one Colorless Energy does 10 damage, and your opponent can't play Item cards during their next turn.
- Patrat (Wachsendes Chaos 070/086): as long as it is in play, damage counters can't be moved to other Pokémon. The counters you spread stay where they are.
- Fezandipiti ex (Ascended Heroes): its Ability („Umdichten“) draws 3 cards if one of your Pokémon was Knocked Out during your opponent's last turn.

One risk: Meowscarada ex, Arboliva ex and Fezandipiti ex each give up two Prize cards when Knocked Out.

Two differences from the source: Magical Bullet only hits a Benched Pokémon that already has damage counters on it, and Juckende Pollen costs one Colorless Energy.
