Gem Pack Vol 6: China's exclusive Pokémon series continues
On August 7, 2026, China gets the sixth volume of its exclusive booster series: Gem Pack Vol 6 (set code CBB6C), this time starring Applin and its evolutions. The cards are printed exclusively in Simplified Chinese and are officially sold only in China.
What is the Gem Pack series?
Since January 2025, The Pokémon Company has been publishing a booster line in China that exists in no other region. Every pack contains four cards, and all four are holos. Previous volumes covered Eevee and its evolutions (Vol 2), nocturnal Pokémon (Vol 3), Ponyta in a springtime design (Vol 4), and cards from the Pokémon Horizons series (Vol 1 and Vol 5).
What's inside Vol 6

- Release: August 7, 2026, China only
- 28 Pokémon with 6 holo variations each, individually numbered
- Each of the 28 Pokémon also appears as an Illustration Rare, for a total of 196 cards
- Including a China-exclusive Applin Illustration Rare
The cards revealed so far are already known from English and Japanese sets. 21 of the 28 Pokémon have not been revealed yet.
Why this matters for collectors here
Officially, the series only exists in China. Sealed boxes of earlier volumes do turn up regularly in Western channels though, via eBay, Amazon, and import sellers. For collectors of Chinese cards, the line is reachable, just not through regular retail.
pokelix does not currently stock the series, but we are watching it. If you are interested in Gem Pack products, let us know via the contact form. With enough demand, we will look into an import channel.
