League prizes October 2026: Mega standees

Play! Pokémon has announced the league prizes for October 2026. Participating stores receive new prize sets for their league events, and this time there is something in the set that goes beyond the usual stickers: three acrylic standees of Mega Pokémon.

The acrylic standees

Three designs are available:

  • Mega Charizard X
  • Mega Gengar
  • Mega Kangaskhan

The standees are the deluxe prize and go to players who reach the maximum number of activity points in the month. So they are not something you pick up by dropping in once, they are tied to playing regularly.

The sticker sheets

The standard prize is sticker sheets with twelve designs each. The sheet shown here includes Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gastly and Delibird. There are several different sheets in the set.

New trainers also receive activity counter posters with avatar stickers, to tick off their own progress through the month.

The new Battle Box

The most interesting part for players is the new Battle Box. It holds 80 different cards with no duplicates at all and is built for two player draft games. Cards named so far include Team Rocket's Tyranitar, Alakazam's Jolteon and Alakazam.

A box without duplicates is a different product from a normal deck: it is not meant for playing a fixed list, but as a card pool that two players each draft their deck from. That is an entry level format you would otherwise need two booster displays for.

What this means for collectors

League prizes are not sold in stores. They go exclusively to participating Play! Pokémon locations and from there to the players, and the number per store is limited. That is exactly why these pieces regularly turn up on the secondary market later, and the acrylic standees are the collectible here, not the stickers.
