New Water Figure Collection from Japan

The Pokémon Company has announced a new collector box for Japan to mark the 30th anniversary: the Card Illustration Figure Collection featuring Water Pokémon (カードイラストフィギュアコレクション「みずべのポケモン」). It releases on August 27, 2026 at Pokémon Centers and the official online shop in Japan.

What is inside?

Each box contains one random holo card plus a matching card stand with a 3D figure of the featured Pokémon. The figure is designed so the Pokémon appears to step right out of the card artwork. There are 13 variants in total: 12 regular designs and one rare secret variant.

Which Pokémon are included?

The focus is on Water Pokémon, including Squirtle and Starmie. The secret variant shows Wailord from the Scarlet & Violet – Journey Together expansion. The cards themselves are reprints of popular illustrations from 151, Paldea Evolved and Paradox Rift.

Price and availability

The recommended retail price is 1,800 yen (around 9.70 euros) per box. The collection is confirmed for Japan only so far. No Western release has been announced.
