Special Illustration Rare Pikachu-ex from Pokémon 30th Anniversary

Two embossed Special Illustration Rare Pikachu-ex have been officially revealed for the anniversary set Pokémon 30th Anniversary (30th Celebration). They are among the set's ultra-rare chase cards and release worldwide on the same day, September 16, 2026, with no Japan head start.

Both cards pick up the set's festival theme: Pikachu celebrates alongside many popular Pokémon such as Sylveon, Meowth, Gengar, Slowpoke, Espeon, Eevee and Snorlax.

  • Pikachu-ex 149/128 (daytime festival): A lively celebration by day. Its attack Pika-Pika-Parade pulls any number of Basic Pokémon from your deck to your bench, plus Thunderbolt for 200 damage.
  • Pikachu-ex 150/128 (fireworks at night): The same celebration at night under glowing fireworks. Its attack Zippy-Zappy Frenzy attaches any number of basic Energy from your hand, plus Thunder for 200 damage.
