Pokémon Delta Reign: Mega Evolution Officially Revealed

Finally, good news for everyone who was hoping for the big Japanese Mega set: Delta Reign (German: Delta Herrschaft) is the Western release of Storm Emeralda. It arrives on 6 November 2026, so there is no need for the usual Japan import anymore.

What is Delta Reign?

Delta Reign is the international version of the Japanese set Storm Emeralda, expanded with cards from the Mega starter decks and gym promos. In total the expansion holds over 135 cards, including 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares and 6 Special Illustration Rares.

Four Mega Evolutions at the top

The heart of the set is four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex:

  • Mega-Rayquaza-ex (084/103), the flagship of the set.
  • Mega-Tectass-ex (011/103).
  • Mega-Calamanero-ex (069/103).
  • Mega-Golgantes-ex (047/103).

New: Legendary Stadium cards

Delta Reign introduces a new card type: the Legendary Stadium cards. They come in two halves that have to be played together, forming three legendary stadiums in total. The idea is reminiscent of the LEGEND cards from the HeartGold & SoulSilver era. Booster packs that contain such a card always include both halves.

The complete range is confirmed at launch:

  • Booster Display in 36-pack and 18-pack versions.
  • Top Trainer Box with 9 boosters, accessories and a Kyogre promo card (MEP-117).
  • Booster Bundle with 6 packs.
  • Build & Battle Box with 4 boosters, a 40-card deck and a holo promo, available from 24 October 2026.
  • 3-pack blister with a Jurob holo promo, plus several checklane blisters.
